Gwynaeth McIntyre became involved in the project in the summer of 2013 when she responded to a request for a faculty liaison after the proposal to make the collections accessible to the larger academic community was accepted by the department. She is largely responsible for overseeing the paperwork aspect of the project and successfully applied for a TLEF-FL grant through the University of British Columbia which funds the digitization of the squeezes and their inclusion in the library’s digital collections website. With Lisa and Chelsea, she oversees the student involvement in the project but her role is centred on the classroom implementation of the digital materials. She has presented the From Stone to Screen project as part of an organized panel on Flexible Learning during UBC’s Open Access Week and as a guest lecturer at Langara College. She also co-authored (with Lisa and Chelsea) a submitted manuscript for Digital Humanities Quarterly.
